Quarantine Livestream Benefit Series

At the start of Illinois’ shelter-in-place order, we partnered with our good friend Adam from Blind Adam and The Federal League to host a series of livestream shows featuring local musicians and raise funds for non-profit grassroots organizations fighting against Covid-19. Our first episode was done in studio just before the shelter-in-place order and then for the wellbeing of all involved, we switched to a livestream of a home recorded performances. Over the course of the 8 episodes, we raised over $5000 for 3 organizations, including The Night Ministry (providing mobile heath care resources for Chicago’s homeless population), Indie Lab (community-based science center in Richmond, VA), and Brave Space Alliance (Black-led, trans-led LGBTQ Wellness Center on the South Side of Chicago).
